Agemonia

Agemonia is a large-scale cooperative narrative campaign game from Mighty Boards and one of the titles brought to the Simplified Chinese market by Infinity Hex Games. We handled licensing, translation and publishing for the Chinese edition, making the adventure accessible to Chinese-speaking players.

Localising a narrative game means preserving its world and storytelling while making its rules clear to players. Our work spans the rulebook, cards and narrative text, with attention to consistent terminology, natural language and matching information across components.

We respect the original content and design intent, shaping the Chinese prose to support understanding and immersion.

Chinese-edition crowdfunding

The Simplified Chinese edition of Agemonia raised CNY 2,118,705.50 on Modian with the support of 1,173 backers.
